In collaboration with the Program Supervisor, this position is responsible for planning, prioritizing, and completing tasks and projects related to the administration of the department of Naturopathic Medicine. These tasks and duties may include but are not limited to the following: compose correspondence for the department; maintain files for the department to include student files, departmental forms and budget forms; submit payables on weekly basis and keep a log of submittals; reserve rooms and AV equipment for faculty as needed; serve as first contact for all who contact the department; greet visitors and students and respond to their needs appropriately; provide courteous and prompt customer service to all who visit the department; place book orders to include desk copies and order course related supplies for faculty. Qualifications: Adept in standard office procedures and equipment. Proficient in Microsoft Office software (word, excel, and PowerPoint). Ability to work independently and remain flexible. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrate strong organizational skills in managing projects. Must be able to maintain confidentiality and have clear professional boundaries. 3 years as full time administrative support with progressive responsibilities. Prefer familiarity with academic environment. BA or equivalent required.
